It’s hard to believe it’s July and we’re halfway through 2026! By the time you read this, we’ll have celebrated our nation’s 250th birthday, and I’ll have celebrated one of my own.
Thank you so much to each of you who read the blog! I spend a lot of time here at my desk studying and writing, and I absolutely love it. My prayer is that each post meets a need for someone, somewhere. The truth is, though, that the one person who benefits the most from this blog is me.
I pray daily not only for God’s help in writing, but also for those who read the blog, that the Lord would bless them greatly. Which means I pray for you regularly.
Now it’s time for my annual announcement that I’ll be taking a few weeks off for summer break. This will give me a chance to rest, re-energize, and start preparing and studying for the upcoming year. There are, I think, some cool topics on the horizon! But I also want to hear from you – what are some topics you’re interested in, questions you’d like addressed? What do you appreciate about the blog, and what are your suggestions for improvement? Are there subjects you’d like to see more or less of? Let me know any of your thoughts in the comments!
